hi, i don't understand what you mean, in the official docker image mbstring is already present

I don't use docker, I just cloned it and pointed nginx as the documentation mentions. It would help to list the php dependencies in the documentation.

Hi, I don't know about docker, but in a normal cpanel / xampp / laragon instalation it verify php dependencies.

yes, the setup script will check all dependencies!

I might hve read it wrong but the documentation seem to mention the setup script only for Apache, the NGINX section doesnt mention anything.

These are the packages I was using when I was hosting Wiki|Docs manually on Ubuntu 24.04:

php8.3-fpm, php8.3-mysql, php8.3-cli, php8.3-curl, php8.3-gd, php8.3-mbstring, php8.3-bcmath, php8.3-zip, php8.3-opcache, php8.3-xml, php8.3-xmlrpc, php8.3-intl
