Can you please add an option to add the size of an image?
For example: ![MyPicture](image.jpg){width=100px height=100px}

Thanks for the suggestion.

This won’t be supported because adding attributes like {width=100px height=100px} is not part of standard Markdown (GFM/CommonMark).

One of the core goals of this project is to stay strictly Markdown-compatible so the content remains portable and can be rendered correctly in other Markdown viewers without custom extensions or lock-in.

Supporting image sizing would require non-standard syntax or custom parsing, which goes against that goal.

I don't want to be disrespectful in any way, as I think this is an awesome project, but already a HUGE amount of non-standard Markdown is available in Wiki|Docs. If you look in the folder libraries you can see what extentions to Parsedown are available.

Unfortunatly, it looks like development of Parsedown is stopped (last stable version if from 2019) while plenty of other distributions already support image sizing.

Of course, you can always fall back to HTML, but the main purpose of Markdown is readability and easy to use.

So we have two markdowns. Original markdown spec and GFM spec (Github markdown spec).

Those parsedown plugins, add github markdown specs. So it basically makes it compliant with GFM.
