Kotlin thoughts?

What is your opinion on plain Java vs kotlin? You prefer to have it in the former?

Personally, I prefer in OSS plain Java to as a baseline where everyone can contribute as not every contributor might know Kotlin. Speaking about this project, it might make sense to transform to Kotlin as is a JetBrains plugin and JetBrains language is Kotlin. So I have no clear option or strategy how to move on with that project. At the end, the repo needs to work and to be easily maintainable, this is the highest priority. What I can tell is, that I want to have as few dependencies as possible so that this plugin compatible with many IDE versions and is light enough.

Roger, I generally adapt to whichever workflow the project prefers, and I don't have much experience in either, so I defer this to you. The only thing of concern to me on this point is if there is some navigation difference between either format.

I have decided to adopt some of this plugin functionality in ghactions-mgr as every updates there are new issues with java-based plugins.
