Description
Application for Assistance
When applying for help, specify the tech needs that the money is needed for, ex:
- Bootcamps
- Laptop / Hardware
- Other tech related purchases
- Relocation assistance
- Other life needs (rent, medical, etc. bills)
Once assistance created, basic vetting, and then open a Twitter Space where they can share their story.
After Submission:
- Must join discord to get accepted (and intro)
- Twitter Space to share story for vetting OR wait till team vets and gets back to them
Panel that decides Acceptance
- DIVERSE GROUP
- Happens by vote of body of respected tech leaders
- Wide variety of levels (senior, juniors)
- Wide variety of tech (not all coders, devs)
After Accepted:
- Must join discord (YouGo)
- Must contribute to this project or connected projects
