An Error Occurred

The module installed fine and I can create categories and set preferences in module's admin area, but when I try to submit an article from the link in the main menu on my website's home page it gives me an alert in the header saying "An error has occurred, your article has not been submitted"

Also, when I tried to create an article from the module's admin interface I got this error message:

Error : TypeError: is_uploaded_file(): Argument #1 ($filename) must be of type string, null given

It looks like it did publish the blog entry from the backend but when I try to view it I get this error message:

Error : SmartyCompilerException: Syntax error in template "db:db:publisher_item.tpl" on line 3 "" - Unexpected ".", expected one of: "}>"

I'm hoping somone can get the Publisher module working for me because I want to use it for member blogs and it looks very nice for that. The current module I am testing is xmnews (which is the only one that works) but it looks really ugly/sloppy for a blogging system. 😞

What versions of Xoops, Publisher and PHP are you using?
