It's meant to connect to Aurora - not something else.

the FTP features are tightly tied to how it's setup in Aurora, other FTP server implementations won't have the same setup most likely and thus won't work.

If you get a crash it'd be very beneficial to get some kind of logs or so - there should be something somewhere that helps me/others understand the actual issue better.

There are logs in the event viewer of Windows showing what caused the fatal error

You can try this build; https://github.com/XboxUnity/AuroraAssetEditor/releases/tag/v1.4.14 and see if it resolves the crash issue - but, it will likely still fail as the FTP server isn't working the same way the Aurora FTP Server does and thus won't work anyway because of it.

You should keep in mind that this is a Aurora tool, not a common FTP client - it's built for use with Aurora only - nothing else.

yeah 1.4.14 does not crash anymore but as you said it cannot connect. I understand that even it does connect, the folder link still need to be changed for it to work.
