Pattern Directory editor not applying block styles for new patterns (styles only visible in preview) #731

Summary

When I create a new pattern in the WordPress.org Pattern Directory, the visual styles are not applied correctly inside the editor. After saving the pattern and viewing the public preview, all the styles appear correctly there.

Steps to reproduce

Go to WordPress.org → Patterns → “My patterns”.

Click New pattern to create a new pattern.

Add blocks (for example: Cover → Columns → Heading, Paragraph, Buttons, List, etc.).

Apply styles in the block settings (background, layout, spacing, etc.).

Look at the pattern inside the editor canvas.

Save the pattern.

Open the public pattern preview page.

Expected behavior
The editor should render the pattern with the same styles that appear in the public preview, so the design I see while editing matches the final pattern.

Actual behavior
In the editor, many of the styles are not applied (the layout looks plain and without the expected visual styling).
After saving and viewing the pattern preview, all styles are applied correctly and the design looks as intended.
