Add ability to type in/specify the size of the crop selection box before making a new PiP window.

I like to make the cropped PiP windows uniform but its difficult with only being able to drag the selection. Currently im using AHK to set the original window to a certain size then simulate clicking and dragging the mouse a specified amount of pixels to make maybe a 1280x720 PiP window. Its a bit cumbersome and it would be nice to skip those steps. Thank you!

but #324 is better. In #324 you don't need to deal with numbers because the app should detect the elements automatically.
However, #324 is harder to develop. but I still believe that it is better to put the effort in #324 instead

I was thinking about this request a little more and wondering if a compromise of sorts for this could be if there was an option to show the crops numbers/aspect ratio live by the cursor/pointer as you drag the cursor to complete a custom crop that way if someone has a specific crop in mind down to a numerical factor they could at least have a guideline of sorts.
I vaguely remember an extension for firefox (might have been called screengrab plus) which did exactly this in firefox whilst also having a floating magnification bubble/circle by the mouse and pointer which also change to a more precise pointer during this action for even more precision.
I am probably over thinking everything and making it more complex than it needs to be but these are just optional thoughts. Maybe even trigger these options upon holding down a keyboard button and dragging the mouse cursor for the crop so it doesn't overwhelm people or become too busy.

The element selector is looking really great so far and there is no telling how far you can take it to help it differ from one element to another.

I just hope the work you put in particularly with the new element detect feature you are developing pleases everyone and brings in more customers too.

There are a lot of great things to look forward to (not to mention keep you busy) that others have suggest on the roadmap as it is.

What about adding snapping? The idea is that while dragging the crop selector, you can hold a specific key combination, and if one of the region’s edges comes close to the edge of another mapped element, it will automatically snap to it.
Would this feature address the user’s need?

It's quite possible and if not it does sound like a really good idea nonetheless. Maybe if @stabndabb-sketch returned and had some additional input on the matter it would be good but I do feel that your idea @gileli121 is a very good one.
