No module named styleGalleryExport.OptionCreator

Hi,

Using release 0.9.3 with ArcGIS 10.8 I get a bunch of import errors for modules.

Debugging presents the first problem as not being able to find the OptionCreator module with "No module named styleGalleryExport.OptionCreator"

The OptionCreator script is present in the styleGalleryExport directory, but the mapqonverter.py script is unable to resolve the path and load the module.

the release 0.9.3 was not uptodate. I created https://github.com/WhereGroup/mapqonverter/releases/tag/0.9.4 that has the newer commits from the master.

This Error should be fixed there

Thanks for the updated 0.9.4 version.

The module import errors are now fixed.

I can now get through the exporting of layers, but the tool is now failing on "Creating Layout" and the resulting QGIS project is empty.

Several problems are happening during the layout export.

I get an access violation " File "C:\Python27\ArcGIS10.8\lib\site-packages\comtypes_init_.py", line 292, in setattr
value)
WindowsError: exception: access violation reading 0x00000028"

The ArcMap Project becomes corrupted during the layout export so that the spatial data is drawing outside of the layout frame in the project layout view, which shouldn't be possible. The data seems to be drawing relative to the layout view of the ArcMap application layout view rather than the layout data frame. Closing and reopening the project restores the layout.

I did catch an error dialog after an unsuccessful conversion attempt which appears to have a reference to a location on the development machine.

thanks for the fast feedback. Unfortunately, i dont know, if there are changes concerning the layout in 10.8 - in 10.7 it worked well.

I will need some time to find out about the error - but at first glance this directory does not exist on the development machine - not sure where this path comes from.
