Verify the Warsow Flatpak

Hi there,

I hope I've come to the right place to ask for this, if not I'd appreciate it if you'd point me towards the right place.

I've asked on the Warsow Flathub repository about this before. Would you please verify the Warsow Flatpak? It would add another layer of trust and raise confidence in the app :)

Hello! Could you tell us what token should be used and what should be the actual URL?

The token can only be generated by the owner of the flathub/net.warsow.Warsow repository (@Mailaender) on the Flathub developer portal. It'll need to be deployed in a text file at warsow.net/.well-known/org.flathub.VerifiedApps.txt; once that file exists the owner of the Flatpak build repo for Warsow can use the Flathub developer portal to confirm the verification.

If you're interested in "canonising" the Flatpak distribution as an official distribution¹, you can create an issue over in flathub/flathub requesting to be reassigned ownership of that repo².

The maintenance work for Flatpaks is pretty minimal, as builds and updates are automated - things can be set up so Flathub's infra will automatically check the Warsow website or any git repo for a new release and automatically create a PR and run a test build to update the Flatpak if one appears, then roll out the build to Flathub once you're happy with the test build and merge the PR.

Speaking of the Flathub management - I currently cannot afford it due to the lack of time/resources. If anything, things could change after the planned release.

As you don't do any releases, this is pretty low maintenance.

I just noticed that the metadata here is in a deprecated format; will see if I can put together a PR to get that modernised up a bit :)
