Hello! I'm working on some Visual Studio extensions and have been thinking about adding some customizations to this repo. Wanted to check first and see if it would be OK.
Windows 11 ContextMenu
First up would be a bindable context menu that has a customizable horizontal bar in addition to vertical options / menus, just like Windows 11.
Here's a screenshot as implemented in the EasyAF Entity Designer.
FloatingToolbar
The same bindable objects that power the FloatingToolbar. Would be happy to contribute that control as well.
Updated Docs
I am the creator of DotNetDocs, a replacement for DocFX that allows for better customization an deployment to Markdown-based platforms such as Mintlify.com.
I think VSIX Cookbook would benefit from being hosted on a free Mintlify site and integrating the existing how-to guides with full API documentation from the different parts of the VSIXCommunity org. (The DotNetDocs site is an example of what that would look like)
Using Mintlify would also give the docs AI powers, like an MCP server, llms.txt, and in-docs AI conversations.
Would be happy to help set it up and get it converted over if it makes sense.
