Add Option to Update Email/Password from Profile #26
Description
Currently, FinTrack allows users to sign up and sign in, but there is no option for users to update their account details such as their email address or password. This feature is essential for any modern financial or personal tracking application that prioritizes user control, security, and data management.
This issue proposes the implementation of a secure and user-friendly interface where users can:
🔁 Update their registered email ID (in case they want to switch or recover access).
🔒 Change their current password to something more secure.
🔐 Why This Matters:
Provides better user control over their account data.
Reduces friction in case a user switches emails or wants to tighten security.
Aligns the app with standard account management practices of popular fintech platforms.
💡 Additional Suggestions:
Display "Last Updated On" info for password and email.
Add re-authentication prompt after update (optional).
Include a "Deactivate Account" section on the same page for full profile control (as a future enhancement).
