Scheduling of slides and playlists #12
Description
It would be really useful to be able to activate and deactivate slides and/or playlists automatically. This is a partial duplicate of #4
Slides
Once created slides could be:
- Initially set to active and then deactivated at a given time.
- Initially set to de-active and then activated at a given date/time with the option of deactivating at a later date/time.
Playlists
This effectively is the swapping of playlists to allow:
- swapping the active playlist at a given time.
- swapping the active playlist at a given date/time and then swapping back at a given date/time.
- swapping the active playlist at a given date/time for a given duration.
- allow the chaining of playlists so start with playlist A, swap to playlist B at a given time/date then instead of swapping back as above swapping to playlist C. This could be extended to create a chain defining entry and exit playlists.
Slides and Playlists
- Allow a repeat function where the defined scheduling can be repeated daily, weekly or monthly. This repeat functionality could be for a given timescale ie repeat daily throughout July
