Enabling Full Access settings doesn't get reflected in the app

The app settings tell me that "Full Access" is not enabled:

however when i press on it, it goes to the app settings and when I continue to the 'keyboards' settings, the 'Full Access" toggle is enabled already:

In settings > general > keyboards > keyboards I see TypeWhisper show up:

and when i click through, i see that "Allow Full Access" is enabled here as well:

The outcome of this bug is that the TypeWhisper keyboard doesn't show up when i rotate the keyboards in any app.

No issue with 0.2.7 when I built it locally and tested on my device (iPhone 16 Pro, iOS 26.4).

From the follow-up testing in this thread, this appears to have been fixed in 0.2.7+, and the original report was very likely affected by TestFlight still distributing the older 0.2.2 build.

There is now a current public release available here:

If anyone can still reproduce the Full Access / keyboard visibility issue on v0.2.8 or newer, please open a new issue with device, iOS version, install path, and repro steps.

@SeoFood Actually, I think we do need the TestFlight to be updated after all. With sideloading via AltStore, I can't even set it as my keyboard, let alone give Full Access. 😓

Still having this exact same issue on v0.2.8 unfortunately. My device is an iPhone 15 running on iOS 26.3.1. Mine was also side-loaded via AltStore, and while I was able to set it as my keyboard, the same full access issue persisted.

Actually after deleting it from the list of keyboards (it was previously able to have it on there via the TestFlight version), I was also unable to turn it back on. Seems like the same exact issue @cybardev was facing

Although the 'full access' option in the settings of TypeWhisper never got 'checked', regardless of being toggled in the iOS settings, the keyboard eventually worked on version 0.2.2 (via testflight), and I've used it successfully over the past 3 weeks.
Now i uninstalled the testflight app and installed version 0.2.8 via Sideloadly, and now it's effectively unusable:

• the keyboard shows up as TypeWhisper (German) in the iOS keyboards, and i have 'Allow Full Access' toggled on
• in the iOS app settings for TypeWhisper, in the keyboards settings tab, i have both 'TypeWhisper' and 'Allow Full Access' toggles turned on
• in the TypeWhisper settings under Keyboard it shows 'Keyboard Enabled' and 'Full Access' as untoggled
• the 'record' screen shows 'Enable Keyboard: Settings > General > Keyboard > Keyboards > Add New Keyboard > TypeWhisper', even though it's enabled over there
• when i swap to the TypeWhisper keyboard (confirmed by 'DE' in the spacebar), it does not display the blue 'record' button on the left side of the keyboard:
