Use filters in slskd search?

I only want flac files. Is it possible for lidarr to use slkd filters when it seaarches like islossless so I don't see a long list of mp3's in the search?

The filter in the Slskd GUI limits the displayed results, but Lidarr receives all found items regardless. This behavior is specific to Lidarr. As mentioned, you can use the "Include File Extensions" setting to filter results, or apply Lidarr's custom formats to exclude any files that aren't lossless.

Content-based filters (like minBitRate, minFileSize, isVBR, isLossless) shown in the web UI, are client-side only. They filter the results AFTER the API returns them. These are NOT part of the API request. So not a part Tubifarry can modify.

I have the opposite : I want only mp3. And I cant find a way to make it work.

As said filter are solely a UI functionality. If you only want MP3 then you need to set that in your quality profiles.

The quality profile is correct, but I need to verify a couple of things. Currently, I can't confirm whether the custom quality profile is actually applied to the artist or if FLAC files are genuinely being downloaded.
Since no logs or interactive search results were provided showing FLAC marked as allowed, could you please share two screenshots:

• The artist settings page showing the quality profile set to your custom profile
• The interactive search results where FLAC is marked as applicable/allowed

This will help me confirm the configuration is working correctly.
