Codec Tinker constant bitrate?

Can Codec Tinker convert to a constant bitrate? I'd like to convert FLAC to MP3 320 CBR. I've specified FLAC -> MP3:320 in the Codec Tinker Custom Conversion Rules settings, but converted files end up being MP3-VBR-V0, not MP3-320 as desired. Am I missing something or is this just not possible?

I'm curious about your use case.
Are you looking for CBR because your MP3 player doesn't support VBR files?
Just so you know, VBR typically produces better sound quality than CBR at similar file sizes. And if you're looking for the best quality-to-size ratio in a lossy format, Opus is generally considered superior to MP3.
Could you share what you're trying to accomplish? That way I can give you more targeted advice for your situation.

My use case is just personal preference mostly, but also for sharing and listening via plexamp. I have almost 300,000 files so I'm not looking to diverge from mp3 at the moment, even if opus is better. My library is about 6% of my total storage space so the filesizes aren't much of a concern to me, but also, I have 0 FLAC files as well so wasn't really looking to start trying to replace my whole library with FLAC at this point either.
