our matrix chat wasn't super active, but now it's been offline for 24h+ because federation sucks

let's make an overview of potential nostr alternatives for our dev group chat

• signal: more centralized, seems more stable
• which nostr group chat apps can make sense this week?

Seems a little harsh. Trustroots was broken for signups, if everybody else took the same attitude we'd have no users left.

I guess matrix will recover, and for those of us who run our own servers, everything's working great!

@guaka @chmac I've found out about Trustroots and its nostrifying ideas at NostRiga 2024. I really like that! I am active in other Nostr based projects such as OpenBunker (related to sign-in with e-mail address), https://kubo.watch/ (web of trust), and The Wonderflow (Nostr profile and event data based matching). I'm looking for your chat to discuss cross-pollination and learn from your methods. I see there's a chat via Matrix, but I can't find a Trustroots channel on your site or via Element chat search.
