[BUG] Automations with trigger not working. Works in QuickBar.

Describe the bug

When using an automation entity in Home Assistant with just a trigger, an automation doesn't fire. But when the automation is put into a QuickBar, it works fine.

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Configure a Trigger Key to access an automation
2. Test Trigger Key (doesn't work)
3. Add Automation to QuickBar and assign same Trigger Key to QuickBar
4. Automation runs successfully with Quickbar

Expected behavior

Automations should run from Trigger Keys alone without the need of a QuickBar

Are you talking about an automation's trigger enable/disable, or its actions?
Have you gone to the Entities settings, and changed this entity's action to your target action?

And if it's only the automation's actions - you can just create a script for it and import it in a few minutes, and use that.

This is an automation's actions. It works fine through the QuickBar on a single tap. If I assign it to just a trigger key without the QuickBar, the actions don't start for some reason.

To get more detailed, it is an action to change the input of my receiver between 2 different inputs with an if/then automation. The automation works fine directly or in a QuickBar, but I'm trying to save a click of the remote by directly assigning it to a trigger.

Can I export something specifically for you to review?

Hey, you didn't reply to this part:

Have you gone to the Entities settings, and changed this entity's action to your target action?

Also - I really encourage you to just create a script and import it and use that, automation = script with a trigger, and scripts are used for these exact purposes (when you want a sequence of actions with a manual trigger).
