Hey @PeteMarsh, I hope there's a solution here - it's really weird to me that an Android TV device running Android 11 has these limitations. |

Android TV Hardware
Panansonic TX-50JX800B / 4KTV_JUP
QuickBars Version
v1.3.2
Home Assistant Core Version
2026.3.1
What is happening?
After installing and successfully linking to HA, QuickBars is not listed under Accessibility in my Android TV options. So I can't use my remote control. Settings reports it as a Panasonic 4KTV-JUP version 11 with kernel version 4.19.195+. The label on the rear of the TV says it's a TX-50JX800B.
All that shows is Audio type, Visually impaired, AC4 dialogue enhancement, Captions, High contrast text & Text to speech.
@Trooped kindly linked this workaround but I can't make it work.
Running
./adb shell settings put secure enabled_accessibility_services dev.trooped.tvquickbarsseems to complete ok, there are no errors reported. But then trying
./adb shell pm grant dev.trooped.tvquickbars android.permission.WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGSgives the following:Screenshots or Video
