Support for new train PID interface

As of October 2024 pretty much all train stations in Melbourne have switched to the new black/colour-on-white PID interface. While personally I still prefer the old interface, I think it would be great if the train PID mockup on the site is updated to the new one.

On that note, I already made a somewhat complete simulation of the new PID interface, and I'm happy to attempt to adapt it to the site - but I'd like to get some opinions on whether this update is necessary:

Sorry for taking so long to reply - it's been a busy year

I've actually been working on updating the PID system myself (Have a look at https://pid-test.transportvic.me/)

However, the code on a larger scale needs to be overhauled and I'm slowly working on rewriting nearly every aspect of the website. I don't really have a timeframe as it's dependent on my free time and I maintain this website as a side hobby

Ah, that's nice to hear. I'm also doing this as a hobby, but perhaps I'll have a look and see if there's anything I can contribute to.
