How to add custom microphone (Zoom H1)

I am trying to get the Zoom H1 to work over USB with cinemate, but I don't know how. I changed the .asoundrc from
pcm "hw:Device,0"
to
pcm "hw:H1,0"

arecord -l :

lsusb:

No .wav files are written when recording and no VU meters in the web GUI
