"No active device found" please help!

I have downloaded the Spotify HR for my versa. I own a Samsung Galaxy S10. I have followed all the steps of opening both the Fitbit app and Spotify app and keep getting the same error message. I have even uninstalled then reinstalled the app and also restarted my versa. No fix. I see that many have wrote about this issue but it has not been acknowledged or answered by the developer. Please help

For me this was resolved when I pressed the play button in my Spotify app on the phone, then the Fitbit app successfully recognized the device.
