The color picker does not give the color of the picked pixel #373

Description

Describe the bug
When I use the color picker on tight areas (like a part of a text letter), CCA does not give the color of the text but apparently the color of the background.

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: MacOS Tahoe
  • Version 26.0.1

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

Pick a color on an area that shows various colours (e.g. text on a background)

Expected behavior
I would expect the colour of the picked pixel to be returned by CCA.

Additional context

  • The problem occurs only if I use it on my Macbook Pro 14" internal monitor. CCA works as expected if I use the color picker on a Dell external monitor.
  • The problem occurs whichever software the color is picked in (e.g. I tried inside Safari, Chrome, Firefox and Figma)
  • The problem might be related to the recent MacOS upgrade.
  • I am not sure that is related, but I noticed the "target" inside the zoom selector of the color picker does not allow picking each pixel, it seems there are doubled pixels, and I can only pick 1 pixel for each 2x2 pixel square.
