Those are the samba shares that I use. Add these to the bottom of /etc/samba/smb.conf. Also, make the mountpoints owned by nobody:nogroup by doing:
sudo chown -R nobody:nogroup /mnt/movies.
Repeat for other mountpoints. Also do:
sudo chmod 777 /mnt/movies.
Repeat for other shares. This is normally a terrible idea on Linux - don't do this unless you implicity trust the network. But for Samba 777 means somewhat different as it maps those bits to DOS file bits so it's kind of necessary. Or at least the internet tells me so.
To mount by UUID, attach the disks and then run:
sudo blkid
For example, mine pulls this as one of the disks:
/dev/sdc1: UUID="a80cd550-2f98-47a4-89d3-a145631f258c" TYPE="ext4" PARTLABEL="software" PARTUUID="a5578250-d1c7-48cb-905f-9d3ec59d4207"
To mount this, I make the mountpoint (in this case /mnt/software) and then add the disk using this syntax in /etc/fstab:
/dev/disk/by-uuid/a80cd550-2f98-47a4-89d3-a145631f258c /mnt/software ext4 defaults 0 0
