The government created the The National Immunisation Program (NIP) to allow citizens to get free access to vaccinations including the polio vaccine
How did this affect the accessibility of the medicine?
It meant that people didn’t need to worry about economic factors and were able to get vaccinated even if they were struggling financially or wouldn’t previously had access.
