I feel like this is the exact kind of functionality that would be in MinimapAPI so I just had to make the suggestion.
To explain in more detail, I'm referring to when a lit bomb (Or troll bomb of any kind) is spawned within a room, and then you exit before it explodes, the room saves the location and state of the bomb so its fuse can be "re-lit" on room re-entry, that way exiting can never cancel out the effects of any kind of bomb.
With that mechanic in mind, I think it would be cool if there were a Map UI indicator for rooms that contain un-exploded bombs that will re-activate on entry. Or mayhaps, if there are even more examples of similar mechanics that are held until re-entry, a new type of "incomplete" room border, like a lesser version of what happens on the minimap when you enter and then exit a room without completing it currently.
Not sure! Feel free to do whatever you want with this information, I just think it's a neat concept.
