Question : External Map Mode

What can use the Log Output of the External Map Mode?
I couldnt find anything that could utilize the Log Output to create an External Map.
Is it some hidden or unused feature that wasnt further developt?

nothing yet afaik but it could be quite easy to make a program similar to the Rebirth Item Tracker.
such a program is optimal for competitive play because it does not block gameplay
