Immediate tasks extracted from the minutes of Sept. 2025 TEI F2F in Kraków:

• Preface should give brief organizational history

• Think about the reader who knows very little about the TEI and its organizational structure.
• Need an opening paragraph like: "The TEI is over 40 years old now, and its organizational forms have been evolving over time. Formative years ... (Tell the story.) P1, P2. Appointed Editors.
  • How did Council come to be
  • How were institutions/organizations involved
  • Individual memberships

• Move "Appointed Editors" section down to precede the TEI Council because this work is related.

• Include HumaNum in list of sponsoring organizations.

• Separate Preface from Acknowledgements.

This ticket is connected with #2745 for developing a TEI personography. We'll try to conclude some tasks for the 4.11 release milestone, but probably leave this ticket open for more intensive work.
