Passing Key Word Params

Ok, so now I'm trying to pass "q" query string. For example: params = { 'q': 'gender==F' }
Running students.query(**params) throws an error. Looking at the stack it looks like the '==' is being converted to "%3D"
so the call string ends in "/count?q=gender%3DF" rather than ==F
I've tried escaping the == signs in several ways but the all give the same error.

It's not liking the parameter key itself: requests.exceptions.HTTPError: {"message":"q is not a valid parameter."}

I think it may have something to do with the table instance you're specifying.

Should be this, if I'm not mistaken: https://powerschool.asmilan.org/ws/schema/query/students/count?q=gender%3DF

Yep, totally right. I was getting myself messed up trying to filter a PowerQuery. Excited to use the module but getting ahead of myself. Works now when applied to the schema students table.

nice! yeah, it should work with PowerQueries, but you need to use get_named_query instead of get_schema_table

I was missing the $. It should have been:
params = { '$q': "gender==F"}
