Noticed no commits in past month with 44 pending open pull requests. @t3dotgg If you aren't willing to maintain would you be willing to give away some commit bits and either periodically push updates to unduck.link checking to make sure the code still works, or perhaps have a system requiring each PR to have multiple reviews from committers before auto-merging and pushing to unduck.link or perhaps a staging domain for people to use?

Assuming Theo sees this but if he doesn't, does anyone want to create a fork?

I've been using the unduckified fork (hosted here) which lets you customise the default bang + support for custom bangs, which was my main reason for the switch.

I used unduckified for a while too - it's a solid fork with a nice landing page, animations, and sound effects. Eventually found the page-load-then-redirect approach clunky though, so I built flashbang from the ground up around a Service Worker that handles redirects before the browser renders. I've benchmarked it at ~1ms (you can do the same at https://flashbang-dyr.pages.dev/bench if you're curious). Also it has bang-aware auto suggestions in the address bar if anybody is interested. Different tradeoffs - no fancy UI polish, no search history and search counter and AGPL instead of MIT, but no analytics and redirects work fully offline.
