You've already done a huge job so I hope there is no offense in my issue, I'm just saying this will totally slow down the adoption of your great work.
I am myself developing on my own an open source project (https://github.com/leolivier/cousins-matter) so I perfectly know the problem.
And I swear I'll make a donation if I manage to migrate from Nextcloud 😉
