is there a way to turn off farylink_xxxxxx access point that it produces even when connected my main wifi

looking over the code it shouldn't be making it's own wifi. but to force it to stop you can add a line:
WiFi.mode(WIFI_STA);

depending on which code your running will depend where it goes.
D1 mini code it would go on line 625
ESP32 code it would go on line 726
