Update to newer Elgg versions ?

Hi Pawel,

I've installed your plugin as an alternative for backup_tool (automatic backup of server + data + DB dump, and FTP upload), which support is discontinued.
I appreciate the immediate "Backup DB" button in your plugin, as well as the pre-requisites checks, compared to the other plugin. Both plugins features are quite complementary.

I wondered if you plan to release new versions of this plugin for latest Elgg versions ?

I'm also considering working on a merge + update of both plugins into a single one, preferably on Elgg 1.12, and it would be probably worth for Elgg 2.0 too now (though i still don't use in production it yet).

I didn't see much interest in the plugin, so did not update it, but may have a look if it doesn't work on newest Elgg. Do you have some errors showing up, or just not sure about compatibility?

Well, actually no : it works fine on Elgg 1.12. Some comments on community site reported problems on Elgg 1.11, but i doubt it's related to the plugins itself...

I was mainly thinking of minor changes like languages files (replace by return array(...) and manifest update.

A look at compatibility is justified considering it was written for 1.8 IIRC

I've just pushed a new branch for 1.12 with most obvious changes to improve compat.
Also wanted to test the plugin with your "code diagnostic" tool, but ran into an fatal error...
