Sampled binary values out of range

Values coming in as binary in sampling function are not handled properly by bin_to_volts function and there is currently an "else" condition that circumvents this error although it should not be needed.

This seems to be related to the corrupted messages that mess up the values of samples (Follow state of issue #4)
