False positive malware

Windows Keeps thinking that my electron app installer exe is a malware whenever i add these global listener libraries like iohook. do you know any solution or workaround? without signing or whatever

If you have an exe that's not code signed Windows will always assume it's malware. Gotta codesign if you're distributing exes. Might also want to consider using a better Windows installer framework other than the default Electron one, like Inno Setup.

But it doesn't happen when I don't include these libraries. When I use electron without global key listener libraries, my exe doesn't get auto deleted by windows. I think instead we should use windows APIs that register keys instead of listening to all maybe? Idk

Yeah but even without the global key listener, even if the exe isn't auto deleted, when you actually try to run the exe Windows will warn and complain if it's unsigned.

Idk the experience is still different. It easier to install by just clicking 1 button rather than windows deleting it
