Contribution Guidelines

Adding to the list

Before creating a pull-request, you should ensure that:

  • Your suggestion is not already in the list.
  • Your pull request contains only one suggestion.
  • Keep descriptions concise (under 100 characters).
  • There are no spelling or grammatical errors.
  • Suggestions are in the format [Resource](link) - Description
  • Descriptions must end with a period.
  • Resources within a group are alphabetised.

Before suggesting a tool, make sure that the tool:

  • Is tested and well documented.
  • Is actively supported and do not have excessive issues.

Pull Request Process

  • Fork the repository.
  • Add your entry following the format above.
  • Submit a PR with a clear description.

Updating your Pull Request

Sometimes, we may ask you to edit your pull request before it is included. This is normally due to spelling errors or because your PR didn't match the awesome-* list guidelines.
