X,Y,Z axis is flashing a question mark

all axis' are flashing a question mark and having problems setting home axis

The flashing question marks is not an issue, it's just what marlin displays when when the axis have not been homed or when the steppers were disabled to show it's unsure about the current position of the nozzle.

The fact you have problems setting home is unlikely linked to this board definition. I flashed the latest Marlin version on my Anet A8 today using this repository and I don't have any problem so far.

Also, try to be a little bit more descriptive. What kind of problems ? Motors loosing step ? Nozzle ramming into the endstop switch ?

Maybe try to seek help with the Marlin community.
