You aren't actually turning on the RTC

Hey, just a heads up that you need to set SIIRTC_V001 to enable RTC properly on emulators and actual hardware, without those emulators needing to known about and memory patch the roms based on this at run time (or force enabling RTC with a hack)

I've found it usually works fine to replace the hex value 0000000003000100000000 with 5349495254435F56303031 so long as its the instance of it sitting between the FLASH specifier and RFU-MBOOT.

Works fine for me out of the box in mGBA with the RTC autodetect on in overrides. Haven't tested on a physical cart yet though
