[Feature request] Environment variable for wofi specific configuration

Many other desktop utilities have environment variables to change their configuration directory only for themselves.
Right now to set the configuration directory of Wofi via environment variables, you must set XDG_CONFIG_HOME which has a lot of other implications.

Is it possible to add a simple WOFI_CONFIG_DIR (or something like it) environment variable ?

I would say, supporting XDG_CONFIG_DIRS would also work for my use case

Also, I think it might be more logical if the Wofi-specific environment variables don't need the wofi subfolder ?
Like $XDG_CONFIG_HOME/wofi is normal but $WOFI_CONFIG_DIR/wofi doesn't seem right

It would, but there is the factor where the upstream repository is not this one. The majority of wofi users will rely on XDG.

I guess more work can be done to implement it.
