we on linux do not have alot of options for on-network casting to our PC. I'd really appreciate if this was implemented on linux at least. I'm aware this is also a feature not available on mac. completely understandable

i second this, gui scrcpy apps dont have settings that work well for quest or are easy to manage and i would love to see this happen

what's weird is theres code for linux, but it's looking for the snap version of scrcpy? im honestly not sure why it even bothers using scrcpy externally, they ship adb and scrpy with the app.
im currently looking through the code to find what arguments they pass to scrcpy to make it stream cleanly.

edit: so idk what they did to make scrcpy work on quest, but stock scrcpy seems to be bugged on quest. the way the 2d panels render breaks the capture every time they are selected/in-focus.
