tournament with seeded players entering in the second round

Hi,

Is this something this library could handle?

I have a tournament of 24 teams.
The lowest 16 teams will play first round, the 8 winners will match with the highest 8 teams on the next round then it's a classic bracket.

What that means is that the 2 first round have 8 match to be displayed.
At first glance, it seem that it is not handled but I may have missed an option.

This is something I would like as well. Right now I have to have 8 matches in the first round with just one team in them. It would be nice to not show them until round 2.

Could either of you provide an example of what exactly you need to display? it sounds like a simple single elimination bracket.

Do you have matches where there's only one team is that the problem? why include those matches in the first place then?

Some code examples or a visual diagram of what the bracket needs to look like would be much appreciated!

How it is now, we have to have all spaces in the first round filled, whether by teams or by BYEs.

What would be nice is to have an option not to show the BYEs and just start where there is a game.

That today isn't possible all matches are displayed today, if you are in the mood for a pull request to support that I'd be happy to review it and merge it in.

You could build a custom match component that just renders nothing in BYE scenarios. but the connection lines are handled internally by the library and would still show.
