Serve static html files for server?

What do you think about having an option for the server to serve a directory of static files for a basic interface? I have one (sure others do as well) that points to the endpoints--happy to share as an example if this is of interest.

This is (and the acestep 1.5 it is based on) is a great project.  Thanks!
