Instruct/Indicate how to delete categories

I'm not sure if this is a bug with the current version, or something that hasn't been implemented yet... but I'd like to be able to delete a category (and multiple categories at the same time).

When I go into manage categories there's no option to do so, or to even select/edit a category - except for assigned color. Settings has no option to delete a category either, though it does have an option to toggle deleting notes when deleting a category. This leads me to think it should be possible somewhere and is just a bug?!

Hi AnonemooseBear,

You can delete a category by swiping left or right on the category name itself.

So, for example, if your category is called 'ABC' and you swipe either left or right, a box will appear asking 'Delete ABC?', and will ask you if you are sure you want to delete, and states that no notes will be deleted. Select 'DELETE' at the bottom of the box, and the category has now disappeared. Now if you go back to the All Notes page, your notes will now be under the 'Default' category, and ready to be added to another category in the normal way.

I'm not aware of a way to delete multiple categories, so AFAIK the only way is to swipe each category separately, unless another user knows differently - but it's also fairly quick just to swipe categories away one after another :)

As @Joe-9T already said, you can delete a category by swiping it. This is parallel to any other element in the app (notes, checklist items) and a dialog will appear before deleting the category. You can even adjust the delete behavior in the settings.

We should however add a tutorial slide or an indicator to this.
I'm changing the title to indicate this.
