This will be linked to HA to give a more detailed explanation of the outdoor plug changes.
The outdoor plug and its individual outlets have changed!
What was once 3 devices for the outdoor plug is all merged into one device as you can see below. These switches are all part of the same device and should be presented that way. This avoids having usage details in one device and outlet controls separately in another.
The devices now show up in the device list called outdoor plug + the device MAC address, which helps differentiate for users with multiple outdoor plugs. Each device can be renamed in HA once you're updated.
If you had automations using a specific "device", its likely that those devices were removed. This will be a breaking change for those that used these devices/entities in automations and scripts. In my experience the entities migrate over well but the devices not so much since they no longer exist. To help address this, Repairs will be generated in HA to flag automations and scripts that contain any of the changed devices and entities. Not every repair will necessarily require a change on your part, but they are flagged anyway so you can make sure. Once addressed, you can ignore the repairs.
We have also added a usage reset button as shown below that will reset both energy counters.
Feel free to leave feedback on this if you have problems or questions, and thanks for your understanding with this change.
