Crapy and VRY load weird sound in Mac OS X 10.7.3

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. On a MacBookAir with OS X 10.7.3
2. Run ProTrekkr (Sound only hearable with headphones, BUT DO NOT PUT THEM NEAR 
YOUR EARS,
3. Load any module into ProTrekker and Press Play. 

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The expected action is to hear music. 
The outcome is a VERY load Noise (Only hearable in headphones, nothing at all 
is hearable via the computer loudspeakers.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
version 2.5.4 on a MacBook Air with OSX 10.7.3

Please provide any additional information below.

I have the same issue.  It plays at full volume actually, regardless of 
settings.
