[bug] An inexplicably large number of fnm_multishells Node.js processes

An inexplicably large number of fnm_multishells Node.js processes are causing the Task Manager to freeze, preventing the creation of new terminals, and even causing some Node.js-dependent programs to crash outright. Is there a solution?

tsx watch src/index.ts will cause this problem.

Is this the reason I discovered 5.6 K directories under C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\fnm_multishells\ ? But in my case almost all of them are pointing to C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\fnm\node-versions\v22.21.1\, so it could be something else?

I'm using Windows 11 and PowerShell (Core edition) profile script:

fnm env --use-on-cd --shell powershell | Out-String | Invoke-Expression
