Currently using v1.20.1-1.2.3, and when I go to break the copper pot without a pickaxe, it causes the pot to just vanish into the aether. This is a bit strange considering the standard cooking pot from FD also "needs" some sort of pickaxe to break it, but you can still safely break it without one, just not quite as quickly.
