Description
Lets consult with Jim. To start the discussion we might consider the folllowing:
-
Labeling: Instead of just "ratio," we could use a more descriptive label like "BUN/Creatinine Ratio". This immediately clarifies what's being compared.
-
Legend or Footnote: Include a brief explanation in a legend or footnote that explains what the ratio represents and why it's important. For example: "The BUN/Creatinine ratio helps assess kidney function. A normal range is typically 10:1 to 20:1."
-
Units: While the ratio itself is unitless, we could include the individual units for BUN and creatinine elsewhere on the chart or in a legend. For example: "BUN (mg/dL) / Creatinine (mg/dL)".
