Introduce progress tracker for long running operations

Some operations that take longer but are not verbose (outside of debug log level) may trick users into thinking that the process is stuck, for example pulling a large container image from the Internet provides no indication aside from something similar to:

INFO[0000] Unpacking image source: oci://registry.opensuse.org/devel/unifiedcore/tumbleweed/containers/uc-base-os-kernel-default:latest

We need to provide a way to visualise this and improve the UX. Examples (non exhaustive!) for tooling related to such functionality:
