Connection issue: PicoScan showing warnings, other LiDAR like LMS511 works normally.

Hi,

When connecting to the LMS511 LiDAR. it works without any issues.
However, when connecting to picoScan, several warnings appear.
Is there any additional configuration required?

To what kind of device + firmware (SIM, SAE, ...) do you connect the picoScan so that I can check if itit already supports the picoScan.

BTW, When connecting to PicoScan, the point cloud visualization works properly, but this warning message is concerning.

Hi,
Let me update you on the situation.
This issue has been resolved by updating the FW of SIM1000 to the latest version, v2.0.1.
The FW version 2.2.9.0R I mentioned before is incorrect;, the correct version is V1.7.2.

I would like to confirm one more point.
In addition to LMDscandata, picoScan provides output formats such as Compact and MSGpack.
Are there any plans to support these formats?

Regarding the other output formats: I am not aware of any planed updates. But if this is important for you, please create a SupportPortal ticket at https://support.sick.com/ with your requirements and some background information of your use case to address it to the right team.
